Featuring a DC servo-controlled motor, the Audio Technica AT-PL50 Turntable is a fully automatic belt-drive turntable. It has a professional aluminum platter,The turntable has the ability to play standard records back at both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM and an adaptor for 45 RPM records is included with the package. The tone arm is balance with a soft damping control and the phono cartridge, made from a integral Dual Magnet has a diamond stylus which is replaceable.

The controls of the Audio Technica AT-PL50 Turntable are located on the front of the turntable to make it easier for you to control your music with easy access. For protection, your turntable will come with a dustcover, which is removable. Additionally, a stereo RCA-to-1/8-inch miniplug stereo adapter cable is included with every order as well as the warranty information for the unit and a user’s manual.

An internal stereo phono preamplifier is also featured on the Audio Technica AT-PL50 Turntable. A cable adapter, included with the unit also allows you to connect the unit to regular amplified speakers. Located under the platter, you will find the switch able preamp selector switch that will allow you to turn the preamp on and off. This is important feature depending on whether the connected amplifier has a phono imput or was built without one.
